John Earley

When John Earley retired he was wondering what he would do with all of the new found leisure time. Being newly retired little did he realize how life fills up all of that time. He remembered he carved some bears a long time ago and they actually did look like bears, so he decided to take up carving. He says many people helped hone his skills and evolvement in carving. He finds the art of carving very satisfying and sometimes frustrating. John joined NEWC in 2013 and met many carvers who helped him improve his carving skills. More recently he has been contributing his time to help the club. Looking at the photos below it is obvious why John should be very satisfied with his carving art.

Come to the February 2, 2019 meeting to hear more about John's carving journey and skills.
