Sailfest is Southeastern Connecticut's premiere summertime event, complete with a major fireworks display, amusement rides, free entertainment, ships, and over 200 vendors lining the streets. There will be plenty to see, buy, and eat, so make sure to come hungry and ready to try new food!

WHEN: Friday, July 7th through Sunday, July 9th, 2022
WHERE: Thames River Gallery on 239 Banks Street, New London, CT 06320
New England Woodcarvers, Inc and the Thames River Gallery on 239 Banks Street, New London, CT 06320, 1-800-443-0344 will partner to present an exhibit of carvings on July 7, 8, and 9. All carving levels welcome! Sailfest is visited by over 300,000 people. Banks Street and others will be closed to vehicle traffic so thousands of pedestrians can walk around and view all the venues.

After 24 years of extremely hard work and dedication to the Annual Mystic Carving Retreat, the coordinators of the event are retiring. Rather than let this classic event end for good, Connecticut Woodcarvers, and New England Woodcarvers are joining forces with Mystic Woodcarvers to keep the event going.

WHERE: Wisdom House, 229 East Litchfield Road, Litchfield, CT.
DETAILS:
Tuition for overnighters this year will be $450 per person / $500 per person en suite. All rooms have 2 beds.
Tuition for commuters this year will be $300.
$40 materials cost paid tot he instructor.
