Save the date for the Spirit of Wood Show in October! The next member meeting is September 6th, 9-4 at St Thomas Church in Wilmington, MA.
2025 Spirit of Wood Show Information

Please park at the back of the church parking lot. Additional parking by the commons.

Registration is on Friday, October 17th from 3PM to 6PM AND Saturday, October 18th from 8AM to NOON. Late entries will not be eligible for judging or prizes.

Judging will start Saturday at 4PM.

Open to the public Saturday the 18th, and Sunday the 19th 10AM to 4PM.

A bucket contest featuring items donated from vendors as well as member carvings takes place throughout the day on Sunday.

Seminars so far include Carve a “Walking Stick” provided by Mark Austin and the Connecticut Woodcarvers

A live Raptor demonstration

Wood turning demonstration

Soap carving for the Kids with "Crafts and Stuff with Rachelle"

Woodcarving Class with Todd Wisell. Please sign up for class by emailing darren@newc.org

Vendors will include MDI Woodcarvers Supply and others selling quality tools, materials, woodcarvings and wood such as basswood, tupelo, and butternut.

Carving Clubs from all around New England will be available. Meet the members and watch live demonstrations throughout the day.

ONLY FILL OUT THE INFORMATION YOU ARE SURE OF. If you are uncertain about any part of the form, leave that part blank and the volunteers on the day of the show will help you.
Registration sheets will also be available at the show and can be filled out there.
Consider filling out the form in advance particularly if you plan to register during the short registration period on Sunday morning.
